Job summary

Scatec in Manila seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, logistics, and supplier management for renewable energy projects. You will drive efficiency, ensure timely delivery, and uphold procurement policies while maintaining quality across operations.

The role involves setting up frame agreements, managing contracts (FIDIC knowledge preferred), and coordinating with O&M teams to deliver reliable energy assets. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent field.
• B.S.C in Business Administration or equivalent required.
• Legal degree or related qualifications are advantageous.
• B.S.C QS or similar qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimisation of the operating system.
• Set up and maintain frame agreements aligning with strategic objectives.
• Minimise downtime and maximise production through efficient supply chain performance.
• Contract management and post-contract follow-up for defects and claims.
• Train O&M personnel on procurement policy implementation and monitor compliance.
• Audit procurement policy implementation and ensure local content commitments.

Why this role matters

To provide a Supply Chain management service to the relevant business unit through frequent reporting and ensuring that goods are delivered on time, within budget and compliant with procurement policies and within the expected quality requirement.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

• Provide continuous input towards improvement and optimisation of the operating system


• Implement procurement policy and procedure for the respective countries


• Set up and maintain frame agreements that match the strategic objectives of the spare parts strategy


• Minimise down time on operations and maximise production through efficient supply chain performance


• Post Contract management of defects and claims


• Manage the training and follow up of relevant O&M personnel for the implementation of the procurement policy and procedure


• Conduct the audit of the implementation of procurement policy and procedure


• Ensure the implementation of local content and economic development commitments under procurement


• Responsible for procurement of assets including spare parts


• Request proposals, evaluate, negotiate, conclude and contract service agreements and supply accounts


• Manage the warranty claims on behalf of EPC

What you’ll bring

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, B.SC in Business Administration, Legal degree, B.SC QS or similar


• 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain


• 2+ years’ experience in a managerial position
  
• Delivered at least two projects successfully from start to commissioning demonstrating knowledge in all areas applicable


• Excellent knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint presentations and proficient in MS Word


• Trained in contracts management (FIDIC)
