Scatec Philippines is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Manager to lead procurement and logistics for major projects in the Philippines. You will oversee RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier management to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery and compliance with policies.

You will also manage a project team, implement standardized procedures, and coordinate with EPC and O&M groups to optimize assets delivery and performance across renewables projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• 2+ years of managerial experience in procurement, logistics or contract management preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implement the operating system throughout the structuring and execution phase of the project.
• Manage all procurement and logistics team members within the designated project.
• Oversee all project RFPs, evaluations, recommendations, and final procurement strategy.
• Support negotiations with suppliers and contractors and prepare final draft contracts with legal input.
• Maintain the project shipping register and coordinate shipments.
• Identify project site roles and recruit resources per execution requirements.
• Prepare contract variations and ensure timely receipt and agreement.
• Implement procurement policy and procedures for respective countries.
• Train and mentor O&M personnel on procurement policies and procedures.
• Procure assets including spare parts and manage service agreements.
• Handle warranty claims on behalf of EPC and manage logistics to site.

Why this role matters

The Procurement & Logistics Manager will provide procurement and logistics management services to the relevant business unit through frequent reporting and ensuring that goods and services are delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with procurement policies, and to the required quality standards. Including contracts administration of the various supply, services and construction contracts and where necessary offer input into the relevant Head EPC Contract administration.

What you’ll be doing

• Successfully implement the operating system throughout the structuring and execution phase of the Project
• Manage all assigned Procurement and Logistics team members within the designated project
• Responsible for all project RFP’s, evaluations, recommendations, and final procurement strategy
• Support negotiations with Suppliers and Contractors and prepare final draft contracts in coordination with the legal team
• Establish and maintain the project shipping register once contracts are in place and before shipments commence
• Identify project site roles and recruit the required resources in line with the execution requirements of the project
• Prepare and implement contract variations to Suppliers timeously and ensure receipt of variations is acknowledged/agreed upon
• Implement procurement policy and procedure for the respective countries
• Manage the training and follow up of relevant O&M personnel for the implementation of the procurement policy and procedure
• Responsible for procurement of assets including spare parts
• Request proposals, evaluate, negotiate, conclude, and contract service agreements and supply accounts
• Manage the warranty claims on behalf of EPC
• Manage logistics to support delivery of assets to site

What you’ll bring

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• 5-10 years of experience in procurement, logistics, contract management or supply chain functions within industrial, infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects including 2+ years’ experience in a managerial position
• 3-5 years of experience working in the Philippines or managing procurement and logistics activities within the Philippines.
• Good understanding of enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Knowledge and experience in utility-scale renewable energy, BESS, solar, HV transmission/substation, EPC or large industrial projects , and related contracts
