Job summary

Bounty Fresh Food, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to forecast demand by analyzing sales, inventory, production and logistics data.

You will build reports on NSP, volume, inventory levels, and cost drivers to inform business decisions. In Inventory & Planning you will monitor levels at farms, DCs and warehouses to prevent overstock or stockouts, support production planning, and identify slow-moving stock for recommended actions.

Job description

Core Responsibilities:

I. Data Analysis & Forecasting

• Analyze sales, inventory, production, and logistics data to forecast demand
• Identify trends like seasonality, e.g. summer break drop in Modern Trade egg sales
• Build reports on NSP, volume, inventory levels, and cost drivers

II. Inventory & Planning

• Monitor inventory levels at farms, DCs, and warehouses to prevent overstock or stockouts
• Support production planning: how many eggs to produce vs. expected sales
• Track slow-moving inventory and recommend where to push it, like farmgate vs. Modern Trade

III. Cost & Performance Monitoring

• Track Cost to Produce and COGS
• Analyze impact of feed costs, fuel/diesel, and logistics on margins
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in transport routes and warehousing

IV. Logistics & Operations Support

• Evaluate delivery performance, cut-off compliance, lead times
• Work with logistics, sales, and farm teams to resolve bottlenecks
• Use TMS/WMS data to streamline routing and scheduling

V. Reporting & Decision Support

• Create dashboards and weekly/monthly reports for management
• Highlight risks: fuel hikes, missed cut-offs, demand drops
• Recommend actions to improve service level and profitability

Key Skills:

• Technical: Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, Power BI/Tableau. ERP systems like SAP a plus
• Analytical: Forecasting, variance analysis, root cause analysis
• Business: Understand supply chain flow: sourcing → production → logistics → sales
