Job summary

MicroSourcing seeks a Supervisor, Client Accounting in a hybrid, dayshift setup. You will prepare management accounts for investment funds, holding entities, and structured finance vehicles, and produce IFRS/US GAAP financial statements.

You will also handle regulatory reporting, coach junior staff, and ensure data accuracy while collaborating with internal stakeholders. Strong English communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional accounting designation is a plus.
• At least 5 years of professional work experience.
• At least 1–2 years experience coaching junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts for diverse clients, monthly to annual.
• Prepare annual financial statements per IFRS/US GAAP/UK GAAP.
• Prepare regulatory reporting/filings on a timely basis.
• Provide timely status updates and meet deadlines.
• Coach and train junior staff for development.
• Maintain data accuracy in proprietary systems and respond to queries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support ad-hoc projects.

Your Role

As a Supervisor, Client Accounting, you will:

• Prepare management accounts (e.g. monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual accounts) for various types of clients such as investment funds, holding companies, aircraft leasing entities and structured finance vehicles
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standard including IFRS, US GAAP, Irish or UK GAAP
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting/filings
• Provide timely and accurate status updates to ensure deadlines are met
• Provide coaching and training to junior staff
• Act in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements, including complying with all policies and procedures and internal guidance notes
• Escalate any business issues to the relevant management personnel
• Ensure proprietary systems are maintained with accurate data
• Respond to internal stakeholder queries promptly, accurately and with a high degree of professionalism
• Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, and other relevant parties, and responding promptly and professionally to requests
• Display a strong team focus and willingness to assist other team members when required
• Ad-hoc projects, including reporting, as required

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Degree Holder in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting designation is a plus
• At least 5 years of professional work experience
• At least 1-2 years experience coaching and managing junior staff
• Previous financial services, investment industry or accounting experience is strongly preferred

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Ability to handle work/client deliverables with tight deadlines
• Good Excel skills such as SumIfs, Vlookup and Pivot Tables, experience in Power Query is a plus
• Ability to learn new software and adapt quickly to new processes
• A team player with good time management skills, positive thinking and willing to learn attitude
• High attention to detail when handling large volumes of financial information
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Maintain and promote corporate values in conducting internal and external business activities and when interacting with colleagues
• Adhere to the highest individual ethical and social standards when dealing with colleagues and clients
• Deliver value to internal stakeholders by consistently providing high-quality service
• Respond promptly and professionally to requests for assistance
