Sunnies Inc. is seeking a Supply Planning Assistant Manager in Manila to oversee SKU-level supply plans, translate demand into actionable purchasing and production requirements, and manage supply risks across suppliers and warehouses.
The role partners with Demand Planning and other cross-functional teams to align purchasing, lead times, and delivery schedules, ensuring inventory targets and priorities are met.
The Supply Planning Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s supply planning activities to ensure product availability in line with demand requirements, inventory objectives, supplier capabilities, and business priorities. The role leads the development and execution of supply plans, manages supply risks and constraints, and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a balanced and responsive supply network.
Lead the development and maintenance of SKU-level supply plans across suppliers, sources, and warehouses based on demand forecasts, inventory positions, open orders, lead times, MOQ requirements, and supplier capacity.
Oversee the translation of demand requirements into purchase and/or production requirements and ensure plans are feasible and aligned with business priorities.
Review and adjust supply plans based on changes in demand, inventory, supplier capacity, and business priorities.
Establish and monitor supply planning parameters to support accurate and efficient planning.
Proactively identify potential supply shortages, delays, capacity constraints, and excess supply and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
Lead the resolution of supply exceptions by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Evaluate alternative supply scenarios and recommend actions based on availability, lead time, capacity, and business priorities.
Develop contingency plans for critical products, suppliers, and periods of high demand.
Partner with Demand Planning to translate forecast requirements into actionable supply plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to align purchasing requirements, lead times, production capacity, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Inventory teams to ensure supply plans support downstream inventory requirements without taking ownership of store-level allocation or replenishment.
Lead regular supply planning discussions and communicate supply risks, requirements, and recommended actions to stakeholders and management.
Review supply planning performance, inventory coverage, supplier capacity, lead times, and other relevant metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Analyze supply and inventory trends to identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.
Develop recommendations to optimize order quantities, order timing, sourcing, and supply across available sources.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for supply planning processes, tools, and planning methodologies.
Lead, coach, and develop Supply Planning team members to ensure effective execution of supply planning activities.
Review team outputs and provide guidance and feedback
Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and work standards for the team.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the Supply Planning function

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, preferably with experience in retail.
Good organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment
Strong understanding of supply planning principles, inventory management, supplier capacity, lead times, and purchasing/production requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP, inventory management, or supply chain planning systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
