Job summary

El Proveedor Inc. in Makati seeks a proactive supply chain professional to manage demand planning, inventory control, purchasing coordination, and end-to-end supply chain monitoring across warehouses and customer touchpoints.

You will partner with Sales, Brand, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance teams to forecast demand, monitor accuracy, optimize stock levels, and mitigate risks through proactive supplier coordination and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts based on historical sales, trends, promotions and launches.
• Collaborate with Sales and Brand teams to update forecasts and monitor accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels by product, SKU, and warehouse; set safety stock levels.
• Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items and flag stock risks.
• Prepare purchasing recommendations using forecasts, inventory, lead times and orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers on availability, production schedules, and shipment dates; track lead times.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Suppliers, and Freight Forwarders on shipments; monitor ETD/ETA and vessel/flight details.
• Develop and maintain an end-to-end supply chain tracker covering all major statuses.
• Participate in regular S&OP meetings; align forecasts with inventory and capacity.
• Prepare reports on demand forecast, inventory status, stock-outs, PO monitoring, and supplier performance.

About the role

This role is responsible for demand planning, inventory management, purchasing coordination, and supply chain monitoring to ensure optimal product availability and efficient operations across all warehouses and customer touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts based on historical sales, current trends, customer orders, promotions, seasonal demand, new product launches, branch expansion, and sales pipeline
• Work closely with Sales and Brand teams to obtain updated sales forecasts, monitor forecast accuracy, and adjust forecasts based on actual sales and market conditions
• Monitor inventory levels by product, brand, SKU, and warehouse; establish appropriate minimum, maximum, and safety stock levels
• Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items; monitor potential stock-outs and excess inventory
• Prepare purchasing recommendations based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, lead times, and confirmed orders
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, production schedules, and shipment dates; monitor supplier lead times and identify potential supply risks
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Suppliers, and Freight Forwarders regarding incoming shipments; monitor shipment schedules and track ETD, ETA, vessel/flight details, and shipment status
• Develop and maintain an end-to-end supply chain tracker covering sales forecast, customer orders, purchase orders, supplier confirmation, production status, shipment status, customs clearance, warehouse receipt, and customer delivery
• Participate in regular Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings; reconcile sales forecasts with inventory and supply capacity
• Prepare and maintain regular reports including demand forecast, inventory status, inventory aging, stock availability, stock-out reports, purchase order monitoring, supplier delivery performance, and supply chain KPI dashboards

About you
