A leading engineering firm is looking for a Licensed Electrical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in substation design and construction. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and strong knowledge of HV and MV power systems. Responsibilities include overseeing equipment installation, ensuring compliance with Philippine regulations, and coordinating with other engineers. Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Electrical Engineer required; Professional Electrical Engineer is an advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in substation design, construction, or related field.
• Willing to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review engineering designs and electrical schematics for substation projects.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical engineers.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of substation equipment.
• Ensure designs comply with Philippine Electrical Code and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with Distribution Utilities (DU), NGCP, and other stakeholders for permits, approvals, and grid connection.
• Provide technical support during site inspections and construction, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and project schedules.
• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Assist in project budgeting, risk assessment, and progress reporting.
• Provide related technical support services that may be assigned.
