Job summary

You will read blueprints, operate welding equipment safely, weld angle bars, gusset plates, flat bars, and steel tubes, inspect welds, and maintain tools while following safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• At least High School or Vocational Graduate in Welding Technology.
• 2-3 years proven experience in structural steel fabrication and installation.
• Able to weld Angle Bars, Gusset Plates, Flat Bars, and Steel Tubes.
• Knowledge of SMAW (Arc Welding); MIG welding is an advantage.
• Can read shop drawings, fabrication drawings and dimensions.
• Able to operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Join metal components using various welding techniques.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear protective gear.
