Job summary

Realcognita is seeking a skilled Structural Detailer to join our fabrication and precast project teams in the Philippines. You will produce 3D models of precast concrete and basic steel, generate detailed shop drawings, and ensure alignment with project standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in structural detailing, hands-on Tekla Structures experience, and a track record on commercial projects such as office buildings or retail spaces.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in structural detailing.
• Experience with Tekla Structures is required.
• Experience on commercial projects (office buildings, retail spaces, industrial buildings) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models of precast elements and basic steel.
• Prepare shop and GA drawings with accuracy.
• Ensure constructability by considering lifting, transport, and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve modelling issues.

Job Description:

• Developing modeller capable of independently producing 3D models and shop.
• drawings for precast elements, including reinforcement and embedded items.
• Builds understanding of constructability and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage 3D models of precast concrete (or basic steel) elements.
• Model reinforcement based on provided reinforcement tasks.
• Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings and GA drawings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve modelling issues.
• Apply company standards for modelling, naming, and documentation.
• Ensure constructability by considering lifting, transport, and installation requirements.

Key Skills:

• Understanding of precast elements, connections, and embedded items.
• Understands common requirements and standard practices of precast.
• concrete element handling, transportation, and installation on site.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong detail orientation and consistency.
• Basic understanding of reinforcement and its function in concrete structures.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks with limited supervision.

Must have:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in structural detailing, with a focus on reinforcement and concrete detailing.
• At least 2 years of experience in using of Tekla Structures.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in working on a commercial projects (Office Building, Retail spaces, Industrial Buildings, Hospitality & Lodging and etc,).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
