Job summary

Realcognita is seeking a Structural Engineer with strong Tekla and precast concrete experience to model, detail, and review structural elements for residential projects in the Philippines. You will read drawings, analyze connections, and translate requirements into accurate Tekla models aligned with design intent.

Applicants should have 5+ years in structural engineering, a Civil/Structural degree, and proficiency in Tekla Structures and Revit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Structural Engineer or similar role.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Must have recent experience in precast concrete and commercial/industrial buildings.
• Strong proficiency in Tekla and Concrete Structures for modeling and detailing.
• Familiarity with Revit and drafting tools.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, detailing, and drafting precast concrete elements with Tekla.
• Reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
• Understand structural behavior and connections within residential buildings; suggest solutions.
• Review architectural/structural plans and integrate into Tekla models.
• Create and manage precast shop drawings aligned with standards and design intent.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to address challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Improve design and modeling processes to boost drafting team productivity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Modeling, detailing, and drafting expertise with a strong focus on precast concrete elements.
• Reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
• Understanding structural behavior, including how elements connect and interact within a residential building.Knowledge of structural loads, compression, tension forces, and overall building performance and the capability to suggest structural solutions.
• Review and analyze architectural and structural plans to understand project requirements and integrate them into Tekla models.
• Precast modeling structures with precision in the Tekla environment, following established company standards and ensuring compatibility with design intent.
• Shop drawing creation and management generate, review, and issue detailed shop drawings that adhere to industry standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness for production.
• Worked with different engineers and project managers to address structural and design challenges, proposing practical solutions as needed.
• Contribute to the improvement of design and modeling processes, helping to streamline workflows and enhance productivity within the drafting and engineering team.

Job Requirements:
