Job summary

GHD Cebu is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our high-performing Structures team on building and infrastructure projects. You will contribute from concept through IFC and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and 3–4 years in consulting, with proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Robot, STAAD, Prokon, and BIM exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3–4 years’ experience in a consulting environment.
• Familiarity with local and international civil/structural codes and standards.
• Experience applying Australian Standards is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in relevant structural design software.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural design documentation from concept through to IFC.
• Prepare and check structural calculations and design deliverables.
• Review design outputs for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians across project teams.
• Support project delivery through structural modelling, drafting, and other technical tasks as required.

What You’ll Do

• Produce structural design documentation from concept through to IFC
• Prepare and check structural calculations and design deliverables
• Review design outputs for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians across project teams
• Support project delivery through structural modelling, drafting, and other technical tasks as required

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3-4 years’ experience in a consulting environment
• Familiarity with local and international civil/structural codes and standards
• Experience working to Australian Standards is highly regarded
• Proficiency in tools such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Robot, STAAD, Prokon
• 3D design experience; BIM exposure is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as with multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills that allow close coordination with the other disciplines
• Proactive attitude to resolve problems and meet deadlines
