Outsource Access, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Engineer to help design safe foundations, translate visions into precise CAD drawings, and ensure ASCE 7 wind-load compliance for residential and commercial projects.

You will work from a home office full-time during EST business hours, collaborating with architects and general contractors to resolve design conflicts before construction begins.

Qualifikationen

• The Detail-Obsessed Engineer: engineering degree with EIT/PE preferred; strong attention to detail within project scopes and budgets.
• Fluent English and/or Spanish; capable of 2-week turnaround submissions for preliminary and final drawings.
• Able to document processes into an integrated playbook to improve workflows.
• Proficient AutoCAD and knowledge of SAFE, ETABS, ENERCALC, or Visual Analysis.

Aufgaben

• Design conventional reinforced concrete, post-tensioned slabs, steel structures, and foundations for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare precise CAD drawings including foundation plans, floor framing, reinforcing plans for shear walls, columns, beams.
• Coordinate with architects and general contractors to discuss conditions and resolve design conflicts before construction.
• Review geotechnical soil reports and perform wind pressure calculations per ASCE 7.
