Job summary

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role is based in Metro Manila and focuses on the design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. The Structural Design Engineer prepares and reviews structural calculations, models, and drawings, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with civil, architectural, and other engineering disciplines, producing and updating CAD and AutoCAD drawings, and supporting design reviews and technical presentations. The role also involves participating in site visits when needed, resolving technical issues, and supporting construction teams with design clarifications and modifications. The Structural Design Engineer contributes to continuous improvement in design practices, documentation quality, and project delivery efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis for building and infrastructure projects.
• Candidates should possess solid Civil Engineering knowledge, including relevant codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for structural modeling and detailed drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in structural design for buildings or infrastructure projects, preferably within consultancy or engineering firms.
• Has an experience using ETABS and SAFE Sofrware
• Familiarity with international and local design codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, or equivalent) and local regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings and coordinate multidisciplinary designs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with readiness to work in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
• Professional engineering licensure or eligibility for licensure is an advantage.
