Job summary

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. is seeking a Streetlight Specialist in Tagum City, Philippines.

The role focuses on field surveys, streetlight system design, and cost estimation for new installations and expansions, working with the North Davao Engineering Support Department to meet targets and improve community services. Ideal candidates are Registered Electrical Engineers (BS in EE), with entry-level experience, and a strong grasp of safety standards, IMS guidelines, and asset management

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering).
• Entry-level position with no prior professional, leadership, or project experience required.
• Experience or familiarity with streetlight systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in DS&A tools and application platforms is preferred.
• Strong safety adherence and IMS awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys, prepare detailed engineering designs, and create material and labor cost estimates for streetlight installation and expansion projects.
• Formulate and review technical specifications of streetlights, perform luminaire voltage assessments, and inspect installations to ensure compliance with design standards.
• Develop schedules (Gantt charts) to plan, allocate, and optimize assets and resources for delivery of section targets.
• Record and organize project data in WAM, AGILA, and CC&B systems to track progress and requests.
• Review service provider reports and ensure compliance with ISO IMS, AMS, and safety guidelines.
