Job summary

SGV is expanding its Strategy and Transactions practice in the Philippines and seeks a Strategy Manager to advise C-suite clients and shape capital agendas. You will lead strategy development, work with an international team, and help clients across multiple sectors achieve growth and value creation.

You will collaborate with EY-Parthenon, gaining exposure to high-impact engagements, develop leadership and communication skills, and contribute to a global network while advancing your career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, management engineering or related field with strong academic record.
• 5–7 years of corporate or professional services experience in operations, finance/accounting, or go-to-market initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of strategy, business development, digital, data analytics, manufacturing, supply chain, product development, project management, marketing and sales.
• Good knowledge of the Philippines market with understanding of economic and business concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to shape business agendas and roadmap.
• Experience managing complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
• Ability to assess complex situations and propose solutions for clients.
• Integrity, work ethic, and adaptability to new environments/clients.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills.
• Internal and external business development acumen.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and team-oriented communication.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to business development by preparing client meeting materials and proposals and by participating in client discussions.
• Lead client projects and engagement teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Maintain relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of all phases of strategy development and implementation.
• Identify strategic opportunities, risks, and issues and recommend resolutions.
• Deliver high client satisfaction to drive additional engagements.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor all levels of staff.
