Job summary

Asurion in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Planning Manager (Supply Chain) to lead end-to-end planning operations and drive strategic initiatives across supply chain functions. This role works closely with senior leadership to implement planning strategies, optimize processes, and ensure operational excellence.

You will lead a team of planners, manage demand, supply, inventory and MRP, and partner with senior leaders to improve KPI performance and cost-efficient inventory flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years managerial experience in supply chain planning (demand, supply, production, inventory).
• 3+ years people leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics AX).
• Strong background in manufacturing operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning team, setting objectives and driving performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver strategic initiatives and growth plans.
• Develop and execute strategies across supply & demand planning, inventory management, MRP, and production planning.
• Review and approve forecasts, supply plans, and inventory strategies.
• Manage planning tools, templates, and process improvements.
• Ensure KPI management, performance tracking, and reporting.
• Identify risks in supply and demand and develop mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, ISO, 5S).
• Coach and develop team capabilities; lead projects across planning operations.
