Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Release Manager to own the release management lifecycle across multiple applications and portfolios. You will coordinate development, testing, and production environments to ensure timely, quality releases.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in release management or project management, strong communication, and SDLC knowledge. ITIL is a nice-to-have; Bachelor's in CS is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage release processes for code through development, test, and production environments
• Collaborate with all participants in software projects and support builders/testers setting up environments
• Build release calendar with project managers across IT portfolios
• Forward plan release windows and cycles across a portfolio
• Manage risks and resolve issues affecting scope, schedule and quality
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are on time and within budget
• Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and go/no-go reviews
• Produce deployment, run books, and implementation plans
• Participate in change control board meetings to discuss scope and roadblocks
