Wilcon Depot, Inc. in Metro Manila seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs and BOMs. You will prepare budgets, cost estimates, and change orders, while coordinating with site engineers and suppliers. Travel to project sites is required.

The role involves evaluating change orders, uploading BOMs to PPM/SD, and supporting Renovation Engineers with material tracking. A related degree and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in quantity surveying, construction costing, estimation, or project cost management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials, cost estimates, change orders, and construction materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience using project management, procurement, or construction management systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and monitoring skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to conduct site visits and travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare pre-construction budgets and Project Order of Materials (POM) for new construction and renovation projects.
• Prepare accurate BOMs for project sites and upload required documents to the PPM/SD system.
• Monitor and track material deliveries to ensure timely availability at project sites.
• Monitor and evaluate Material Requests and Change Order/Variation Order requests from site engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and facilitate the issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Notice of Award (NOA) to contractors and suppliers.
• Provide support to Renovation Engineers in uploading BOMs to SD Requests and monitoring material deliveries.
• Evaluate Change Orders and Variation Orders submitted by contractors and suppliers.
• Upload BOMs through PPM, including materials for other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor and allocate excess construction materials from project sites.
• Coordinate with Material Engineers and Warehouse Engineers regarding material requirements, availability, and allocation.
• Monitor and request advance orders of engineering materials from China based on project requirements.
• Conduct site visits prior to the bidding of new projects to assess project requirements and site conditions.
• Participate in bid meetings with the Wilcon project team, contractors, and suppliers.
