Job summary

Quanta Paper Marketing Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage cost-effective procurement of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies for its tissue plant.

You will source qualified suppliers, request quotations, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders, and track deliveries to support continuous operations. You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, QA/QC, Engineering, Finance, and Management to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and ensure delivery schedules align with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiar with supplier sourcing, price/lead-time evaluation.
• Experience in paper/tissue/packaging or FMCG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review PRs and source/purchase materials.
• Prepare and process POs accurately with lead times and terms.
• Coordinate procurement of materials for tissue production.
• Monitor supplier lead times and prevent shortages.
• Identify local/international suppliers and evaluate quotations.
• Conduct supplier canvassing and maintain approved supplier database.
• Negotiate prices, terms, discounts, and MOQs.
• Monitor outstanding POs and follow up with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Production and Warehouse to maintain inventory.
• Coordinate with QA/QC on specifications and documentation.
