Job summary

Beepo Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support sourcing activities, category management, supplier relationship management, and transactional purchasing to achieve business objectives.

You will execute sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and expedite orders while ensuring accuracy in dates and ETAs, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. The role emphasizes compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, liaising with vendors).
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), ERP systems, and SharePoint.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem resolution skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Team player who meets and exceeds team goals.
• Self-motivated, positive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Executing sourcing activities in line with company directives.
• Category management using MRP.
• Maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and source alternatives as required.
• Transactional purchasing as required.
• Expedite open orders and maintain Orders and Due Dates using ERP system (ECI-M1).
• Conduct RFI/RFQ/RFP activities to meet business objectives.
• Maintain accurate dates on all orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure ETAs are met.
• Define minimum stock levels and reorder points per sales forecast and production needs.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Engineering, Finance, Suppliers, and Freight Forwarders.
• Comply with Workplace Health and Safety requirements and adhere to QMS.
