Job summary

The role requires coordinating with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing to ensure material availability, tracking inventory, and maintaining planning records. You will analyze data to preempt delays and support capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Prepare production plans based on orders and forecasts.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams.
• Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Analyze data to identify scheduling or capacity issues.
• Report delays or risks to the Planning Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders and demand forecasts.
• Monitor production progress and update schedules as necessary.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments regarding material availability and production requirements.
• Track inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Prepare and maintain production planning records, reports, and databases.
• Analyze production data and assist in identifying scheduling or capacity issues.
• Follow up on production status and report delays or potential risks to the Planning Supervisor.
• Support the preparation of demand forecasts and production capacity planning.
• Ensure accuracy of production schedules and planning documents.
• Perform other planning and coordination duties as assigned by management.
