Qualifications

• University degree in business, engineering or supply chain.
• At least five (5) years experience in Procurement.
• Professional certification is a plus.
• Preferably has done construction and facilities management-related procurement.

Responsibilities

• Conducts spend analysis on the category assigned and develops strategies.
• Understands business requirements and collaborates with internal clients on spend planning.
• Conducts canvassing / biddings and negotiates terms based on pricing and market trends.
• Evaluates bids and provides vendor recommendations.
• Performs strategic sourcing and accreditation to identify best supply sources.
• Develops long-term relationships with vendors and conducts performance evaluations.
• Generates savings and initiates cost-efficiency projects via standardization and re-engineering.
• Resolves disagreements between internal partners and suppliers with practical solutions.
• Partners with Disbursement to ensure timely supplier payments.
• Communicates processes and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Ensures timely delivery of goods and services through coordination with vendors.
