Job summary

Globaltronics PH is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the company’s purchasing activities, source materials and services, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure that procurement requirements are fulfilled on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The role involves end-to-end procurement responsibilities, supplier liaison, PO processing, and reporting to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• 2–4 years of procurement or supply chain experience
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation
• Experience in sourcing suppliers, evaluating quotations, and issuing purchase orders
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with supplier relationships
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple requests
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost analysis is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process from sourcing and quotation requests to PO issuance and delivery.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
• Request and compare quotations to obtain best value.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other conditions with suppliers.
• Prepare and process POs and related documents.
• Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, deliveries, invoices, and other concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, and transactions.
• Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternative suppliers.
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Operations, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and budgets.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve issues involving incorrect, damaged, delayed, or incomplete deliveries.
• Prepare procurement reports and maintain updated purchasing records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
