Job summary

EESI Philippines is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager / Demand Planning Manager to lead sourcing, purchasing, and demand planning operations in Davao. The role emphasizes ensuring optimal stock levels, cost savings, and efficient supply chain performance.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement processes, inventory management, and strategic planning to drive results. This position is based in Davao, Philippines with work from office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management with leadership experience.
• Strong background in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, and performance.
• Oversee purchasing activities and ensure compliance with company policies and budgets.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock and reduce excess inventory.
• Analyze market trends and supply risks to support purchasing decisions.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, contracts, and deliveries.
• Work closely with Finance on invoice validation, supplier payments, and billing concerns.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide recommendations to management.
