Job summary

V.S. INDUSTRY BERHAD is seeking an experienced procurement and supply chain professional for its EMS operations in the Philippines. The role covers purchasing, material planning, production planning and supplier management. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in a related field and at least five years of EMS experience.

Responsibilities include generating purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery and inventory control to support smooth production.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, material planning, production planning or supply chain within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and procurement processes is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Open to Malaysian candidates who are willing to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Generate purchase orders based on customer forecasts, firm orders, and material lead-time requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on purchase order acknowledgements, delivery schedules, and shipment confirmations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth material planning, procurement execution and supply continuity.
• Update and maintain accurate supplier delivery and goods receipt transactions in the system in a timely manner.
• Manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency, teamwork and smooth production operations.
• Support inventory control initiatives to minimize excess inventory and prevent material shortages.
