Job summary

ABB is seeking a procurement professional to execute strategy, manage supplier relationships, and lead cost-out initiatives across professional services and related categories. You will collaborate with category teams, ensure compliance, and optimize processes in a remote/hybrid Europe setup.

Fluent English, strong negotiation and stakeholder management are essential, with about 5 years in procurement. This role reports to the Co-Head Corporate Procurement and offers international exposure.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Procurement, indirect services preferred.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement strategy aligned with category teams and stakeholders.
• Perform purchasing activities based on needs, specs, price, delivery, terms.
• Manage ABB approved suppliers and monitor performance.
• Provide market insights, evaluate bids, and negotiate agreements.
• Ensure sourcing events use eSourcing tools and maintain supplier data.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers with internal stakeholders.
• Lead cost-out programs and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate orders and deliveries with accurate reporting.
