Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing best practices.
• Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP ERP.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Decision-making and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes all elements of product manufacturing and distribution related to materials and services.
• Monitors transportation and delivery of products.
• Tracks supplier WIP, promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• May oversee command center and drive part shortage resolution.
• Monitors tracking and shipping.
• Performs escalated expediting when required.
• Established and productive professional contributor.
• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
• Works to achieve delivery assurance objectives.
• Executes process improvements and works with delivery assurance systems.
• Communicates with other departments with regard to meeting customer requirements.
• Maintains timely delivery of all materials required for the production of assigned components.
• Manages shipments and coordinates with sub-process suppliers and technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery, and to identify root causes that impacts on-time delivery.
• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including reporting of hazards.
