Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a procurement professional to plan and manage material sourcing, supplier coordination, and on-time delivery at our onsite facility in Tanauan City, First Philippine Industrial Park. You will work with ERP systems such as SAP ERP, negotiate with suppliers, monitor WIP, and drive process improvements while upholding EH&S standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and any other related course.
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
• Experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing best practices.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP ERP.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Decision-making and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes all elements of product manufacturing and distribution related to the acquisition of materials and services.
• Monitors the transportation and delivery of products.
• Tracks and manages Supplier work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
• May oversee command center and drive part shortage resolution.
• Monitors tracking and shipping.
• Performs escalated expediting when required.

• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
• Works to achieve delivery assurance objectives.
• Executes process improvements and works with delivery assurance systems.
• Communicates with other departments with regard to meeting customer requirements.
• Maintains timely delivery of all materials required for the production of assigned components.
• Manages shipments and coordinates with sub-process suppliers and technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery, and to identify root causes that impacts on-time delivery.
• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
