Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines seeks an established procurement professional to manage procurement processes, RFPs, negotiations, and cost analysis. The role handles supplier communication, order status inquiries, and ensures best terms for goods, services, and materials.

The candidate will prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and monitor contract performance while supporting cost-saving initiatives in a dynamic aerospace supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years of experience; or 9 years without a degree.
• Experience with procurement processes, RFPs, negotiations, and cost analysis.
• Understanding Lean Principles and contractual terms is preferred; CPIM/CSCP/CPSM helpful.

Responsibilities

• Carry out procurement processes, standards, and operational plans including RFPs and cost analysis.
• Respond to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure satisfaction.
• Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services aligning with organizational interests.
• Prepare purchase orders, approve payments, and negotiate prices to smooth procurement.
• Compile price proposals and financial reports to inform pricing decisions.
• Prepare RFPs and bid packages for new accounts and monitor contract performance.
