The role centers on developing analytical tools and AI-driven automation to improve efficiency and decision-making across Sales, Finance and Operations. You will produce data-driven value propositions, manage strategic initiatives, ensure policy compliance, and maintain financial models for consistent approvals across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; interest in financial analysis and business operations.
• Experience in pricing, deal support, or contract review; understanding of P&L, revenue, and cost drivers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Enhance B2B pricing strategies and deal pricing; support negotiations as needed.
• Evolve the deal review process for go-to-market strategies (Elsevier 360, Edge, Emerge & Essentials).
• Manage B2B deal review as the key contact between Sales, Finance and Operations; identify opportunities to improve impact.
• Develop analytical tools and AI-driven automation to streamline processes and improve decision-making.
• Create data-driven customer value propositions and integrate into sales materials across teams.
• Drive strategic initiatives and monitor project progress with stakeholders.
• Oversee deal review process for policy compliance.
• Review and process Deal Desk requests; ensure complete and accurate information.
• Validate financial justifications and impact for each request before routing for approval.
• Serve as primary interface among Sales, Finance, and Operations during deal reviews.
• Maintain financial models quantifying implications of Deal Desk requests for consistent approvals.
• Ensure all requests are reviewed per audit requirements.
