Job summary

Metrobank seeks a Corporate Planning Officer to support the bank’s planning framework anchored on the President’s Balanced Scorecard. You will consolidate inputs from multiple business units, perform research and analysis, and ensure accuracy across planning deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting is required.
• CPA or CFA designation is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, FP&A, strategy/management consulting, or budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SID, FPAD, and other units to plan and implement the Bank’s strategic directions and programs.
• Develop strategic goals and action programs aligned with institutional objectives.
• Provide research and analysis to support investment or divestment decisions.
• Assist in maintaining the 5-year rolling financial and capital plan and the budgeting cycle.
• Deliver timely MIS and performance analytics in collaboration with FPAD and SID.
• Support capital budgeting and allocation framework alignment with BU priorities.
• Review and validate performance MIS for products, services and channels.
• Prepare economic and banking market research for planning teams.
• Address data requests from planning and budgeting units to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain management information databases and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare materials for key committees (Board meetings, FinRev, BudCom, ALCo, ROC, etc.).
• Carry out additional duties to support Corporate Planning objectives.
