Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Business Performance Management Officer in Makati to support the Branch Banking Sector with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The role involves developing insights, preparing reports, and collaborating with multiple units to optimize costs and drive performance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy (CPA preferred) with at least two years of related experience and strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred.
• At least two years of related experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, scorecards metrics and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Head in defining and setting financial targets for all business units of the Branch Banking Sector.
• Analyze actual financial performance against budget and prior year results.
• Identify key variances, trends and financial performance drivers.
• Prepare timely financial reports and management presentations.
• Coordinate with business units on budget requirements, utilization and forecasts.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making and cost optimization.
• Help study, develop scenarios and propose changes in the scorecards.
• Ensure timeliness, integrity, completeness and security of the department’s database used in reports.
