Job summary

DSWD is seeking a Project Development Officer II to provide technical support focused on partnership development and management policy, planning, data management, monitoring, and evaluation for specific projects. The role involves preparing communications, reports, and presentations for partnership activities and coordinating with CSOs and government agencies.

The position emphasizes ensuring staff work is completed, maintaining stakeholder databases, and representing the division in meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the job is required.
• 1 year of relevant experience and 4 hours of relevant training are required.
• Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring, documentation, coordination and management of new and existing engagements with CSOs, Regional and National Government Agencies, inter-agency convergence
• Ensures that the technical support needs of partnership activities are met, particularly completed technical staff work
• Evaluates and analyzes partnership data and contribute to identifying trends and strategies for action
• Prepares and submits communication and reports
• Reports through official communication the status and specially partnership-critical updates, developments and activities
• Communicates and collaborates with internal and external units, offices and stakeholders on issues for coordination and action
• Manages and updates database of agreements and follow through actions, directory of stakeholders/ partners
• Prepares communications addressed to field offices, other units within the department and external parties
• Represents the division in meetings, workshops, conferences and other activities when applicable and
• Performs other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Education

Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Development Communications, Information Technology, and other equivalent/related fields
