Job summary

Toyota Motor Philippines is seeking an Outbound Transport Planner to join our Vehicle Logistics – Distribution Planning and Control Department located at the Santa Rosa Vehicle Center in Toyota Motor Philippines City, Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring available and optimized transport resources to support vehicle distribution requirements.

As part of the Transport Planning Team, you will develop dispatch strategies, monitor capacity, and coordinate with Logistics Service Providers to

Qualifications

Strong communication and coordination skills.
At least 1 year of logistics planning or transport operations experience.
Proficient in MS Excel (VBA, Power Query) and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives for outbound transport.
Monitor utilization, routing efficiency, and resource deployment to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
Develop and implement process improvements for transport planning, dispatch, yard ops, and overall logistics efficiency.
Consolidate and analyze daily truck availability reports and estimate delivery capacity.
Monitor resource readiness and ensure capacity to meet schedules and peak volume requirements.
Develop and execute dispatch strategies to move vehicles to dealers, centers, yards, and other locations.
Coordinate special transfers, inter-hub transfers, inventory balancing, events, and overflow movements.
Collaborate with LSPs to align plans and ensure smooth dispatch execution.
Monitor performance indicators and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Provide data-driven recommendations to support planning and optimization.
