Job summary

HRTx Inc in Makati City is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead strategies that drive sales, profitability, and brand growth. You will manage product assortment planning, inventory, and cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Planning, Marketing, and Operations to ensure timely launches and inventory availability.

The ideal candidate has a strong merchandising background, excels at data analysis with Excel and ERP systems, and can coach a team to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Solid years of experience in merchandising, preferably in retail/fashion/consumer goods.
• Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience leading merchandising teams.
• Strong understanding of merchandise planning, inventory management, assortment planning, and retail operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and merchandising or ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented with a strong commercial mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
• Manage product assortment planning, pricing, inventory allocation, and lifecycle management.
• Analyze sales performance, customer demand, and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize offerings.
• Collaborate with Buying, Planning, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure timely launches and inventory availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment or markdown strategies to maximize sell-through.
• Prepare sales forecasts and merchandising reports to support business decisions.
• Ensure product presentation, category performance, and merchandising standards are maintained.
• Evaluate competitor activities and market trends to strengthen merchandising strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop the merchandising team to achieve goals and improve performance.
• Drive continuous improvements in merchandising processes and operational efficiency.
