Job summary

Lufthansa Technik Philippines Inc. seeks a strategic leader to head the Supply Chain department, directing procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics operations to align with business goals.

The role focuses on translating supply chain strategies into actionable plans, overseeing vendor management, materials planning, and compliance with regulations, while nurturing talent and building a resilient, high-performing team culture across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a people management role.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, supply chain, cargo, logistics, or warehousing operations.
• Strong decision-making, leadership, and people management skills.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, inventory control, import/export processes, and export control regulations.
• Familiarity with customs requirements, transportation documentation, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent planning, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes strategic direction, priorities, and operational framework for procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Develops and translates supply chain strategies into actionable plans aligned with company goals.
• Oversees planning and procurement of materials, tools, ground support equipment, and capital projects.
• Leads strategic management of vendors and subcontractors, including negotiations and performance oversight.
• Provides strategic oversight of receiving inspections for aircraft materials and components.
• Oversees storage, handling, preservation, and transportation of materials and tools.
• Directs periodic inspection and inventory control for aircraft materials and warehouses.
• Manages material sale and disposal per company policies and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, quality, and company requirements.
• Establishes supply chain performance management using KPIs and stakeholder feedback.
• Leads resource planning and allocation to support priorities and standards.
• Oversees implementation of personnel policies within the department.
• Provides leadership and directions, fostering collaboration.
• Develops talent, succession, and manpower development strategies.
• Cultivates a performance-oriented, inclusive work environment.
• Develops business continuity and crisis management strategies to mitigate disruptions.
