Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Release and Deployment Manager to OWN, govern, and oversee the end-to-end release lifecycle for enterprise banking applications and core digital systems. You will bridge development, QA, IT infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure zero-downtime production rollouts.

Key responsibilities include planning and governance of release cycles, enforcing gating criteria, and leading post-deployment verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8+ years in IT Project/Release Management or QA leadership.
• Proven track record in enterprise banking/regulated IT environments.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC methodologies and release governance.
• Experience with UAT sign-offs, CR management, and production cutovers.

Responsibilities

• Define release calendars and governance for enterprise platforms.
• Gatekeeper for builds ensuring QA, UAT, security scans, and regulatory checks.
• Lead cross-functional readiness reviews and deployment alignment meetings.
• Manage change requests, rollback plans, and post-deployment verification.
• Coordinate cutover activities during deployment windows and communicate status.
