Job summary

BHP in the Philippines is seeking an Inventory Planner to monitor and manage parts availability to support operations. You will work with Inventory and cross-functional teams to optimize materials availability and align with Work Order planning.

The role requires a pragmatic commercial outlook, collaboration skills and experience in inventory management; SAP familiarity is highly regarded and you will contribute to KPI delivery. This is a on-site role located in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in commercial, business or technical discipline.
• Pragmatic commercial outlook and sound judgement to balance business value and risk.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring parts availability.
• Collaborative mindset and advanced interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory to support operations and functions.
• Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, Group Documents, Code of Conduct and statutory obligations.
• Collaborate with Inventory and colleagues to optimize materials availability and usage.
• Manage exceptions and assess parts availability for scheduled work.
• Review free text items for transfers and align with Work Order scheduling.
• Coordinate to expedite delivery of materials when schedules change.
• Coach end users on inventory planning processes and integration points.
• Engage regional stakeholders to conduct Parts Availability reviews.
• Address ad hoc queries on inventory value, service, and planning.
• Support activities to meet the Business Plan and department KPIs.
• Assist Lead Inventory Planner with issues and performance reviews.
• Continuously update and improve procedures and Quick Reference guides.
