Millennium Specialty Coco Products, Inc. is seeking an Inventory & Costing Analyst to ensure accurate recording, valuation, and analysis of inventories and manufacturing costs.

You will support COGM, COGS, product costing, and variances with timely information for management decisions and financial reporting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 1–2 years in inventory or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or food-processing setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1-2 years in inventory, cost, or manufacturing accounting preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or food-processing environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and reconcile inventory records across raw materials, WIP, finished goods, packaging materials, and other inventories.
• Reconcile Finance/ERP inventory records with Warehouse and Production reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in monthly product costing including raw materials, direct labor, overhead, packaging, and other production costs.
• Prepare schedules supporting COGM and COGS and reconcile with the General Ledger.
• Review and validate WIP quantities, completion percentages, and valuation for month-end reporting.
• Monitor inventory movements (receipts, issuances, transfers, production output, returns, adjustments).
• Analyze actual production costs, yields, usage, and variances with Production, Warehouse, and other departments.
• Assist in accounting and monitoring of by-products, recoveries, rejects, waste and scrap per policies.
• Review inventory costs and identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or impaired inventories for management.
• Participate in physical and cycle counts and reconcile counts with system records.
