Job summary

Shell Philippines, via Shell Business Operations Manila, seeks a Reporting & Accounting Advisor to deliver accurate financial reporting, accounting, and analytical support that drives business performance.

You will apply professional judgment, ensure governance, and support process improvements, automation, and data‑driven finance initiatives across the organization. This role collaborates with global finance teams and stakeholders to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, accounting, finance operations, controllership, or related finance functions.
• Hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting processes.
• Sound understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, reporting standards, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reporting and accounting activities: Execute reporting, accounting and analytical processes accurately and on time in accordance with established standards, governance requirements and service expectations.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting: Analyse financial information, identify trends, investigate variances and provide insights that support business and finance decision-making.
• Manage tactical projects and initiatives: Lead or contribute to reporting, information management and data-related projects that improve finance delivery and business outcomes.
• Support financial stewardship and controls: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, financial controls, reporting requirements and governance frameworks.
• Resolve reporting and data issues: Investigate and address reporting, accounting and data-related challenges.
• Partner with stakeholders: Build effective working relationships with finance colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement: Identify opportunities for standardisation and automation across activities.
• Leverage digital tools: Use reporting systems and analytics platforms to improve efficiency.
