Job summary

KMZD GROUP in Manila is seeking a Senior Finance & Project Controls Lead who blends accounting expertise with project financial management, SAP FICO, tax compliance, financial reporting and cost control. The role involves overseeing full-set accounting, month-end closures, and regulatory compliance on Philippine laws.

The ideal candidate has CPA status, 4–5 years accounting experience, and hands-on SAP FICO proficiency, with strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or senior-level experience.
• CPA license in the Philippines is highly preferred.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP ERP – FICO module.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax accounting.
• Proven experience with PFRS and IFRS reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of project costing and project contract review.
• Experience in engineering services, construction, power/energy is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day full-set accounting activities, including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and compliant with Philippine laws and BIR regulations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial schedules for VAT, EWT, and Corporate Income Tax requirements.
• Handle financial information related to Related Party Transactions and BIR requirements.
• Support statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Perform reconciliations between PFRS and IFRS for corporate reporting.
• Monitor project costs, revenues, and cash flows for ongoing projects.
• Highlight financial risks and provide analysis to project teams and management.
• Oversee progress billing, retention tracking, and collection management.
• Support project profitability reviews and other project financial analyses.
• Use SAP ERP – FICO for data entry, extraction, monitoring, and analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and management analyses.
• Monitor performance, project results, and budget variances.
• Communicate financial performance and compliance matters to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across cross-cultural teams and work independently in a lean environment.
• Communicate reports confidently in English.
