KMZD GROUP is seeking an experienced Accounting & Project Controls Supervisor in Mandaluyong to oversee full-set accounting, tax compliance, and project financial control using SAP FICO. The role drives financial accuracy, regulatory adherence, and close coordination with project teams.
The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of accounting experience, a CPA license, and strong English communication skills to liaise with management.

Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱90,000 per month
We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Project Controls Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial compliance, reporting, and project financial controlling activities.
This role is ideal for an accounting or finance professional with strong experience in full-set accounting, SAP FICO, Philippine tax accounting, PFRS/IFRS reconciliation, and project costing.
The successful candidate will also work closely with management and project teams to monitor project financial performance, analyze budget variances, and identify potential financial risks.
Manage full-set accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), fixed assets, and inventory management.
Ensure that financial transactions comply with Philippine laws, BIR regulations, and applicable local government requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely accounting records and financial information.
Support financial closing and reporting requirements.
Prepare and maintain financial data, schedules, and supporting information required for local tax filings, including VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT), and Corporate Income Tax.
Manage and prepare information related to Related Party Transactions (RPT) in accordance with BIR requirements.
Maintain statutory reporting requirements and support compliance with applicable regulatory thresholds and reporting requirements.
Perform accounting reconciliations between Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Prepare financial closing activities in accordance with established reporting schedules and guidelines.
Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and properly reconciled.
Monitor and analyze project-based costs, revenues, and cash flows.
Conduct Actual vs. Budget variance analysis for ongoing projects and identify significant financial variances.
Flag potential financial risks and provide relevant financial information to project managers and management.
Oversee progress billing, retention money tracking, and collection management for engineering/project contracts.
Prepare required project authorization and financial control documentation.
Coordinate project financial reviews and support project profitability analysis.
Participate in short-term onsite business/project reviews when required.
Utilize SAP ERP – FICO module as the primary system for financial data entry, extraction, monitoring, and analysis.
Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review.
Monitor financial status, budget variances, and project financial performance.
Serve as a key finance liaison with relevant management and project stakeholders.
Communicate financial information, budget variances, compliance matters, and other accounting-related concerns clearly and proactively.
Work effectively in a lean/small-team environment and collaborate with cross-cultural stakeholders.
Communicate and prepare reports in English.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or senior-level accounting role.
CPA license in the Philippines is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience with SAP ERP, specifically the FICO module, is mandatory.
Solid experience in Philippine tax accounting.
Proven capability in PFRS and IFRS reconciliation.
Strong understanding of project costing and project contract review.
Experience in engineering services, construction, power/energy, or import/trading environments is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Comfortable working with different teams and handling cross-cultural communication.
