Job summary

NTT DATA Payment Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, treasury management, internal controls and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA, a Bachelor in Accountancy, at least 5 years in finance with 2 years in management, and experience with BIR audits and multinational environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in Philippine financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience handling external audits and BIR assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with PFRS/IFRS/JSOX and local regulatory requirements.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage the annual external audit and coordinate with auditors.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
• Support management with business performance insights and recommendations.
• Prepare financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with BIR requirements, including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, transfer pricing, and other statutory obligations.
• Review tax filings and coordinate with external tax consultants when necessary.
• Manage tax audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Monitor banking relationships and financing facilities.
• Ensure efficient management of working capital, collections, and disbursements.
• Maintain an effective internal control environment.
• Drive audit remediation and compliance initiatives.
• Support Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and governance activities.
• Review and improve finance processes through automation and standardization.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Establish performance goals and monitor team productivity.
• Support succession planning and capability development.
• Foster collaboration across Finance and business functions.
• Provide financial guidance to business leaders.
• Participate in commercial discussions, contract reviews, and strategic planning exercises.
• Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis and decision support.
