Zusammenfassung

Wonder, the mealtime platform, is seeking a senior finance leader to anchor accounting operations for Spyce, Wonder Create and Wonder AI. Based near Boston, you will partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to translate cost data into actionable margins and strategic insights.

You will own FP&A, annual planning, and the month‑end close, while building scalable processes, BOM costing, and intercompany governance.

Qualifikationen

• 8 to 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience in manufacturing or similar industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Based in the Boston area with ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Deep understanding of cost accounting principles (standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation).
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP) and implementing processes.

Aufgaben

• Partner with leadership to drive strategic decisions using data-backed financial modeling.
• Lead the annual plan and rolling forecasts for Spyce, Wonder Create and Wonder AI.
• Manage the end-to-end monthly close and reporting, distilling complex actuals into actionable narratives.
• Evaluate ROI for CapEx investments in R&D, manufacturing equipment, and new technology rollouts.
• Establish cost accounting processes including BOM management, labor costing, and overhead allocation.
• Analyze product costs from manufacturing to deployment to reveal gross margins and unit economics.
• Monitor variances (PPV, yields) and identify cost-saving opportunities with supply chain and engineering teams.
• Design the chart of accounts and cost center structure to reflect operational realities.
