Job summary

MedGrocer is seeking a Finance Lead to oversee the daily operations of the Finance team, drive process improvements, and provide strategic financial insights. The role requires guiding cost-efficient decisions and ensuring timely tax compliance in the Philippine regulatory environment.

You will collaborate with business units and senior leadership, champion best practices, and mentor staff to support MedGrocer's mission of improving patient health through a digitally-enabled platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a finance-related role.
• CPA licensure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate operations.
• Conducts data-driven analyses and provides actionable insights to business units and top management.
• Proposes and implements initiatives to enhance financial systems and processes.
• Ensures compliance with tax laws, including timely tax return preparation, submission, and payments per BIR rulings.
