Job summary

United Graphic Expression Corporation is seeking a Cost Estimator to accurately prepare and analyze cost estimates for products and services. You will assess materials, labor, production processes, overhead, and other costs to support pricing and profitability decisions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 1–2 years in manufacturing, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cost estimation and costing principles.
• Understanding of materials, labor, production processes, and overhead costs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate costing records and documentation.
• Highly detail-oriented with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for products, services, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchasing and other departments to gather costing information.
• Review and validate costing assumptions, quantities, rates, and computations.
• Maintain and update costing databases, templates, material prices, and other costing information.
• Ensure cost estimates are completed within the required turnaround time.
• Maintain organized documentation and supporting records for all cost estimates.
• Provide management with reliable costing information to support pricing and business decisions.
