Job summary

Coherent Corp. in the Philippines is seeking a Planning professional to develop and maintain production plans with contract manufacturers. You will coordinate schedules, monitor material availability, and manage inventory to support demand and customer requirements.

The role requires 2+ years in planning, collaboration with procurement, and strong problem-solving 능력, with a 100% hybrid work arrangement. Familiarity with Oracle and ERP/MRP systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Planning.
• Experience in coordinating with contract manufacturers and ensuring production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans for contract manufacturers based on demand forecasts and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure adherence to production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Monitor material availability to support production plans and ensure timely supply.
• Track and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess (FG, WIP, raw materials).
• Expedite critical orders and resolve supply or production issues proactively.
• Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to align on supplier capacity and constraints.
• Analyze demand fluctuations and adjust plans accordingly.
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems (forecast, orders, inventory, lead times).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) planning and ramp-up activities.
• Generate and present planning reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with contract manufacturers (lead time reduction, efficiency, cost optimization).
