Job summary

ASYA Design is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to support accounting, financial, and regulatory compliance functions in the Philippines. The role focuses on adherence to BIR, SEC, and IFRS/PFRS standards, maintaining accurate compliance documentation, and supporting internal controls.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments and external auditors, monitor regulatory updates, and prepare compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, audit, tax, compliance, or a related function.
• Knowledge of BIR regulations, SEC requirements, taxation, and basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with PFRS/IFRS and internal control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different departments.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in real estate, property development, construction, or hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring the Company’s compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS/IFRS) and related accounting policies.
• Assist in preparing statutory submissions, regulatory filings, and supporting documentation.
• Help implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors regarding compliance requirements and audit documentation.
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on operations.
• Identify potential compliance issues and report findings to the supervisor.
• Maintain organized and updated compliance records and documentation.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports and recommendations for management.
• Perform other compliance-related duties as assigned.
