Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Communications: Develop and execute integrated communications strategies aligned with institutional priorities and public service objectives.
• Corporate & Institutional Communications: Strengthen institutional reputation, public trust, executive messaging, and consistency across departments.
• Public Information & Campaigns: Lead campaigns that communicate government programs, initiatives, and services to diverse communities.
• Media & Stakeholder Relations: Manage media engagement, external partnerships, and coordination with key stakeholders.
• Digital & Content Leadership: Oversee official communication channels, editorial direction, multimedia production, and content quality.
• Team & Agency Management: Lead the communications team, establish performance standards, and coordinate with external agency partners, including the designated crisis communications agency.

Who We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategic communications, corporate communications, public affairs, or institutional communications.
• Prior experience in government, NGOs, development organizations, or public-sector-related initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop communications strategies, manage campaigns, and engage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent writing, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and work directly with senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of public accountability, responsible communication, and community engagement.
