Job summary

RCBC is seeking a candidate to generate new commercial loans, develop and manage an existing loan portfolio, and suggest the bank's products and services while ensuring asset quality. The role involves building lasting relationships with customers, marketing and delivering bank services within policy and regulatory bounds.

The successful applicant will conduct credit evaluations, recommend facilities, and strive to maximize portfolio profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, or Commerce.
• Post-graduate degree (MBA, MA) preferred.
• Two years banking industry experience, or five years experience in other industries.

Responsibilities

• Conducts credit evaluation of accounts, including client calls and ocular inspections.
• Recommends credit facilities in accordance with Bank policies by analyzing client business, financial capacity, management competence, collateral, and profitability.
• Improves the quality of the loan portfolio and aims to maximize return on resources.
• Solicits credit-worthy accounts by identifying target markets and marketing bank products, offering financial packages tailored to clients.
• Develops existing portfolio by annual review of credit facilities, expanding relationships with prime accounts, increasing deposits and collateral business.
